Mike Merrick founded Fish Window Cleaning in January 1978. Based on growing demand and his success, Mike realized there was a need for this service in other markets. He used his 20 years of experience to create the Fish Window Cleaning franchise system. In 1998, the first FISH franchise opened in Tampa, FL, and from there, FISH became the world’s largest window cleaning company with over 275 franchise locations coast-to-coast.

John English - Director of Franchise Development After earning his bachelor’s degree and spending many years in business development, John joined Fish Window Cleaning’s franchise development team in 2003. He is passionate about finding candidates who are the right fit for FISH’s business model, and he loves seeing how becoming a FISH franchisee has allowed people to realize so many of their dreams. John lives in Chesterfield, Missouri with his wife, Sara, and their four children. On the rare occasion when he finds some free time, he enjoys reading, running, outside activities, and being involved in his church and his children’s school. |
Jon Mittleman - Franchise Development Manager With an MBA in marketing and a strong background in sales, Jon Mittleman, joined the Fish Window Cleaning Franchise Development team in January 2016. Additionally, Jon has been part of the Fish Window Cleaning team for almost 10 years, as a franchisee in his local market in Atlanta, GA. As a franchisee, Jon is especially equipped to give prospects a real life view into a "day in the life". Like many of his franchisee counterparts, Jon enjoys the great life/work balance Fish Window Cleaning offers, as well as the opportunity to go out and create business in his local market every day, rather than sitting in his store or office and waiting for someone to walk in, or the phone to ring. In his spare time, Jon enjoys coaching his two children, Alexa and Zac, in all of their sporting activities, as well as being an avid golfer and runner himself. |
Bobbi Branham Ellison - Franchise Development Manager Bobbi has a strong sales background that started in residential real estate in Southeastern Michigan. The switch to Franchise Development was a natural transition. Bobbi joined Fish Window Cleaning with over 11 years of Franchise Development experience in the service industry. She prides herself on building strong relationships with her candidates, as well as, educating them about the franchise experience. Bobbi lives in Canton, Michigan with her husband and two children. Their son is attending his first year of college, and their toddler daughter has just graduated potty training 101. Quite the age gap but it keeps them on their toes! Together they enjoy travel and family time. |
